Judge Declares Mistrial in Roger Clemens’ Perjury Case

Lets face it: were all pretty sure Roger Clemens took some form of performance-enhancing drugs. But for you lawyers out there who dont rule in the court of public opinion, Clemens is innocent until proven guilty, and the fact that he actually lied about taking steroids has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

As the prosecution Clemens perjury trial attempted to prove he lied about taking steroids, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton abruptly halted the proceedings on Thursday and later decided to declare a mistrial at the request of Clemens attorney, Rusty Hardin. Why?

Time out was key, Rory

Rory McIlroy believes a three-week hiatus from competitive golf was ideal preparation for this weekend’s Open Championship.

In the wake of his stunning US Open triumph at Congressional last month, McIlroy decided to forgo competition until the year’s third major, which begins on Thursday in Sandwich.

The 22-year-old has stayed out of the spotlight since the emphatic eight-stroke win, but does not believe the extended break will affect his chances at Royal St George’s.

McIlroy true to his rituals

SANDWICH, ENGLAND – Eight days ago, Rory McIlroy, still not quite at ease with his new celebrity, slipped into Kent for a couple of practice rounds at Royal St. Georges with the stealth of a cat burglar.

For nearly 15 years, Bannon has helped McIlroy hone his silky swing and nurtured the talent which thrust this remarkable youngster into the history books at the US Open at Congressional.

And as the world awaits McIlroy’s arrival today at Royal St George’s for this week’s British Open, Bannon explains why he believes the Holywood prodigy can eventually take pride of place on a pedestal once reserved for Tiger Woods.

Having joined McIlroy on last week’s reconnaissance of Royal St George’s, the coach enthuses: “I watched him for a couple of days there and I’ve never seen anything as impressive as the way Rory can strike a golf ball.

Hello folks! Welcome to another slideshow!

There have been many masked wrestlers throughout WWE history and I have compiled a list of the best.

Some are better than others, some are still with the company, some were only there for less than a year.

Nevertheless, there is a reason for every one of them being on this list.

So sit back, relax and enjoy the read!

From 1993-1995, Claude Giroux performed as Doink’s sidekick Dink.

He was to Doink like Hornswoggle was to Finlay—getting involved in matches and generally causing all the havoc his clown gimmick allowed him to.

He even made two pay-per-view appearances, one at WrestleMania X, and he performed at Survivor Series 1994, along with fellow clowns Pink and Wink.   <
